SAP Analyst

Desired Skills:

Position Responsibility:
Definition and outline specification for key custom ABAP-programmed
forms, reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements and custom
workflows, BPP development and Systems Test Preparation required as part
of FlySmart solution.


Required Skills:
Strong SAP SD/PS - specifically Non-valuated project stock and A&D
experience and excellent inter personal skills. SAP Finance experiance

• Undergraduate degree required

SAP PP QM Team Lead

The SAP PP/QM Team Lead in the US Delivery Centre is responsible for the design, configuration and support of the SAP PP/QM area to meet the business needs of our clients. Working closely with our clients to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality, the PP/QM Configuration Team Lead adds value to the US Delivery Centre through their knowledge of the PP/QM module and knowledge of its integration with other modules.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Tier 2 & 3 support (SAP PP, QM, and APO)
• Responsible for meeting Service Line Agreements
• Manage local and IDC support resources

Specific responsibilities:

• Assess urgency of break-fix issues and requests for new functionality
• Assign requests to team resources as necessary, and manage work to completion
• Use skill set to design, build, and test effective solutions to application and/or process defects
• Develop other team member’s skills, mentoring them to become better SAP configuration architects, and better client consultants
• Ensure workload is balanced across team members
• Ensure sufficient application coverage during regular business hours, holidays, off-hours
• Be a role model to others in the team (quality of solutions, customer focus, work/life balance, etc.)
• Support/sponsor work/life balance
• Identify areas for improvements in processes and system utilization. Drive/lead implementation of such efforts
• Monitor client satisfaction and escalate potential issues to management if necessary

SAP Database Administrator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Installs and maintains database software, working with systems administrators and/or SAP administrators.
2. Monitors, researches and resolves all software problems for database products. Works with database software vendors to provide solutions to database problems.
3. Participates in systems design, development, and implementation working with application development staff. Performs logical and physical database design.
4. Works closely with systems administrators to configure hardware and software to function optimally with the DBMS.
5. Analyzes application and database performance and implements necessary actions through database changes or recommendation of application changes.
6. Ensures database integrity through implementation of backups, recovery procedures, and contingency planning. Performs testing of all backup and recovery procedures.
7. Monitors and administers DBMS security.
8. Provides technical support and assistance to other partners in the IT Department.
9. Maintains standards for database use and works directly with users of data to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provides documentation of databases, configurations, and guidelines for usage. Maintains records of changes to all database resources for historical reference.
2. Interfaces with vendors to select and purchase hardware and software.
3. Prepares and submits proposals regarding the acquisition of new database systems or software.
4. Responds to after-hours phone or pager calls and resolves problems as needed.

Presently they are looking to increase their staff and are now needing a SAP Database Administrator with DB2 LUW or UDB experience and the DB2 is for UNIX and not DB2 on a mainframe.

Job Summary:
Responsible for all activities related to administration of computerized databases. Designs, implements, and maintains databases to support company needs. Monitors and optimizes databases and database software to ensure maximum performance and availability.
